Born in France in 1958, he graduated at the Ecole du Louvre and at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle. Considered one of the best designer of his generation, nowadays he is a teacher, a stage designer, besides an interior and product designer. Elaborating simple volumes, he worked both in France and in Japan with Driade, Xo, Idee and Salviati. Paris Decorative Arts Museum and New York Guggenheim put some of his items in their permanent contemporary design collections.
